LEGAL
Terms
These terms apply to the Glyph website and official Glyph app builds. They are intentionally short and meant to explain the basics clearly.
Short Version
You own your notes. Glyph is licensed software provided as-is under these terms.
License
- When you buy Glyph, you receive a license to use the software
- The license lets you use official Glyph builds for your own lawful purposes
- Buying Glyph does not transfer ownership of the software itself
License Details
- Unless stated otherwise, the license is for the purchaser’s own use
- You may install and use Glyph on your own machines, as long as your use stays reasonable and personal
- You may not resell, sublicense, or redistribute official paid builds unless explicitly allowed
Trial
- Official builds may include a limited free trial
- After the trial ends, continued use may require a valid license
Your Content
- You own your notes, files, and content
- The developer does not claim ownership over the things you write in Glyph
Open Source
- Parts of Glyph may include or depend on open-source software
- Those parts remain subject to their own licenses
- The public repository is available at github.com/SidhuK/Glyph
Restrictions
- You may not use Glyph in a way that breaks the law
- You may not reverse engineer, modify, or redistribute official paid binaries except where applicable law allows it or where permission is given
- You may not remove or misrepresent licensing or attribution notices
Payments And Refunds
- Purchases may be processed by Gumroad or another payment provider
- Refund handling, if offered, is governed by the provider policy in effect at the time of purchase
No Warranty
Glyph is provided “as is.” The developer does not promise that the app or website will always be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for every workflow.
Limitation Of Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, the developer is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the software or website.
Termination
- If you materially violate these terms, the license may end
- If that happens, you should stop using official licensed builds of Glyph
